Solving complicated technical issues remotely can be a challenge at the best of times but especially now, with the current Covid 19 restrictions. Here at AGCO we are continually exploring new, innovative ways to meet your needs for Parts and Service support and keep you farming during this critical time and beyond.
We are now pleased to announce that AGCO have partnered with SightCall, the most comprehensive and trusted AR live video platform on the market, to offer real time visual service support between our dealer technicians and the AGCO Technical Service teams.
How does it Work?
Whether your machine is in the workshop or requires urgent technical assistance out in the field, your dealer technician can call the AGCO Technical Helpdesk team for diagnostic support and expertise. Our experts will activate a SightCall by sending an SMS message to the technician with a link to access their smart device’s camera and start a live video session.
This new and exciting platform allows the AGCO Technical Support team to physically draw on the technician's mobile screen and display in depth information, such as circuit diagrams or the position of hidden components. In return, the technician can scan additional information such as the chassis number or indicate particular components with a pointer, thereby offering a real time remote collaborative tool which improves first time fix for you, ensuring your machine is back at work as soon as possible. This is just one of the innovative tools we are utilising to ensure we are here for you, our customers, during this time and in the future.
