About the customer

The farm is named 'Fir Farmer', which translates from the German 'Tannenbauer', because it was surrounded by many fir trees. Fendt customer Dieter Einsiedler works full-time at the car maintenance shop and also runs a biogas plant part-time. 

Dieter is a technology fanatic and a pioneer when it comes to biogas. He put his first biogas plant into operation in 2000, which was integrated into the existing farm (stable, silo, liquid manure pit), in contrast to today's conventional plants. 

The Fendt Front Loader

Dieter owns a Fendt 314 Vario with the Cargo Profi 4X 75, which he primarily uses as a classic farm tractor:

  • Perfect all-rounder
  • Feeding the biogas plant (although he primarily does this with the telehandler)
  • Loading hay/straw bales
  • General loading work 

Dieter had previously used a Fendt front loader with a weighing function, and once you've used a front loader with this function, you don't want to be without it. 

So it was clear before the purchase that it would again be a Fendt with a front loader.

The benefits of the Fendt and front loader

With his current Fendt and front loader combination, Dieter is particularly enthusiastic about the following features:

  • Weighing function: It is very convenient if you can check and document the weight during loading (ie. enter the target quantity when loading gravel.) 
  • Memory function: Dieter likes to use this function when loading straw/hay bales. Here the loading fork is adjusted to a height of 30 cm above the ground and it always has the same loading height. 
  • Shaking function: The shaking function makes it very easy to empty the bucket or grapple completely; “You can’t do it yourself as fast as the shaking function” Dieter confirms. 
  • Quick / implement change function: Dieter explains; 'You can work very easily and effectively with the hydraulic implement lock/unlock function. Remove the bucket / attach the fork - all of this can be done very quickly and without the need to leave your cabin, directly from the cabin with a push of a button.'
